- A TYPE 1 INDEX IS NOT VALID FOR TABLE table-name.
A TYPE 1 index cannot be created on the following tables:
- A table within a large table space
- A table within a table space with LOCKSIZE ROW
- An auxiliary table
In addition, a type 1 index cannot be created on a ROWID column of a table.
